Big hype, little substance

Warmly welcomed by Pat, I enjoyed a freshly cooked full English breakfast with a good variety of options. The room was equipped with everything essential, including a desk, mini fridge, and high-speed wifi. A pleasant stay, yet the limited parking options might be a small drawback. Would consider returning!

It was in a residential location, to Lake District. We were in the twin room with WiFi and a TV set.

The rooms quiet, bright with extra touches and cutlery plus comfortable bed. Marvellous and lovely location with free parking nearby. Also, to Lake District.

Beds were uncomfortable.

I had some issues with the hot water-it took about ten minutes for it to warm up, and while I managed to wash my hands, taking a shower was like a lost cause. I found the lock on the room door a bit finicky and parking options were limited, especially during peak times.

The room offered a cleanliness that I appreciated. Amenities like a comfortable setup helped to create a homely atmosphere, great for a solo traveler.

Hot water took its sweet time to kick in, requiring me to fiddle with the faucet and wait around for ten minutes, frustrating when you're keen on a shower. The lock on the room door played hard to get. Limited parking options might put a damper on things for those arriving with vehicles, especially on busy weekends.

This place suits me perfectly. It offers great internet access, a tv, and an electric kettle. Staff even helped me find my lost bracelet during my first stay. I highly recommend staying here for a cozy time!
